As the host of a golf outing at Old Hickory Golf Club, prepare yourself to be overwhelmed with praise and compliments from your guests. To even the most novice golfers, playing Old Hickory Golf Club is a memorable experience that your guests will treasure.
Designed by PB Dye, Old Hickory Golf Club's golf course is a golfer's dream. The course has many distinguishing and unique features, including an island green. Your guests will be both astounded and appreciative of the peacefulness and serenity of the golfing experience at Old Hickory Golf Club.
Our professional staff is dedicated to the success of your event. Whether your needs include a clinic for your guests, tournament favors, sponsor signs, on-course contests, event scoring, or prizes for the winners, our professionals will ensure a smooth and enjoyable event. From greeting tournament participants to helping guests and their equipment to the cars, our staff works feverishly to give your guests one of their best golfing experiences ever.

BOOKING A TOURNAMENT
We can accomodate both charity and corporate outings. We can also accommodate groups with a minimum of 12 participants and a maximum of 144 participants. In order to reserve your requested date you must complete a Tournament Information Form and submit it to Old Hickory Golf Club along with a deposit. The Tournament Information Form will identify the date of your tournament, the format of the tournament and the number of players.
TOURNAMENT PLANNING
Old Hickory Golf Club can help you plan every aspect of your tournament. We will be available to assist you in planning any fund raising activities, designing and placing any on-course signage, designing and obtaining logo merchandise and helping in any auction planning activities. We will also be available to assist you in planning for your food and beverage requirements for the day.
TOURNAMENT PRICING
For outings at Old Hickory Golf Club, our fee will consist of a golf charge and a guarantee of at least lunch or dinner. Food and beverage pricing with menu are available upon request.
The golf charge includes opening fees, guest fees, golf cart fees, practice facility, practice putting greens, bag service, scorecard preparation, scoring and all tournament services.
Old Hickory Golf Club has up to 75 electric golf carts available. If an outing requires more than 75 golf carts, the charge that Old Hickory Golf Club incurs to lease the required number of additional carts will be in addition to the golf charge stated above.
TOURNAMENT DAY DETAILS
For the day of your tournament, we will provide you with all the information you need to know to ensure that your tournament runs smoothly. Details, such as dress code, final player count, starting times, rain policies, payment of you account are provided below so that you can pass it along to your players and the appropriate personnel.
Guarantees - You must provide the guaranteed player count to the Golf Shop 5 days prior to the event. This is the minimum number of players for which you will be billed. You must also provide a guarantee of the minimum number of persons for all food and beverage purposes at least 10 days prior to the event. This is the minimum number of persons for which you will be billed for food and beverage charges.
Cancellation - If you provide notice of cancellation to us at least 120 days in advance, your entire deposit will be refunded to you. If your notice of cancellation is made within 120 days of your event, your deposit will be refunded to you contingent upon the booking of another event and any food and beverage expenses incurred by Old Hickory Golf Club on your behalf will be billed to you.
Rain Dates - In the event of inclement weather, golfers completing nine holes or less will be charged 50% of the golf charge.
Golf Shoes - Use of soft spikes is required.
Dress Code - Proper attire is required for all players at all times. Proper golf attire for men and women includes (i) shirts that are keeping with current golf fashion trends, (ii) shorts of Bermuda-length or s style designed and made for golf, and (iii) slacks. Tank tops, T-shirts, halter tops, mesh shirts, sweat pants, warm up suits not intended for golfers, blue or black jeans, work jeans, swimwear, short shorts, cutoffs, gym shorts, tennis outfits or other athletic shorts are not permitted.
